Overview
The Department of Political and Social Sciences has a ninety-year tradition of studies on the thematic areas of government and international relations, and it offers a first-level degree course in Political Science and International Relations.
The course provides a useful preparation both for an introduction into the working world and the continuation of studies through Master’s degrees, either in Italy or abroad.
Multidisciplinary training in the fields of politics, economics, statistics, sociology, law, and history leads to the analysis and understanding of society in its various and complex aspects.
The degree course also offers classes in foreign languages, including non-European languages, to provide or consolidate language skills and introduce students to the knowledge of specialized vocabularies.
The degree program encourages participation in international mobility programs (i.e. Erasmus study, Erasmus placement, exchanges with the USA and other non-European countries).
The course is divided into two curricula:
• International Studies
• Politics and Administration.
After the first year, which teaches basic arguments to all students, students acquire a more in-depth preparation in disciplines that characterize the degree course and that most satisfy their interests.
