If you are a non European student residing abroad, you need to do a pre-enrollment via Italian Consulate and start the visa procedures. The official admission at the University of Pavia will be possible only after you will have done this pre-enrollment. Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, have to prove their knowledge of the language through an Italian language test.

The Master’s Degree Program in “Chimica” is aimed at the training of master’s degree students possessing a thorough knowledge and culture in the various fields of chemistry and a high scientific and operational preparation in the various fields of basic and / or applied chemistry such as fine chemistry, biomolecules, supramolecular, etc…to those emerging or close to maturation in terms of industrial application relapses, such as molecular devices and machines, new materials (for energy, electronics, optics, sensors), or rather favor the acquisition of broad knowledge of methodologies advanced and unconventional chemistry and techniques, as well as chemometric, merchandise and regulatory knowledge.
The course is divided into four courses:
Analytical Chemistry. Materials chemistry, organic chemistry and supramolecular chemistry and bioinorganics.
Graduates in the Master’s Degree in Chemistry will be qualified to carry out activities of promotion and development of scientific and technological innovation, management and design of technologies; graduates will be able to carry out qualified professional activities in areas related to the chemical disciplines. Depending on the specific training course of each student, access will be possible to the PhD program in Chemical Sciences, as well as to PhDs in related disciplines, such as Biochemical, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, Materials, etc.
