If you are a non European student residing abroad, you need to do a pre-enrollment via Italian Consulate and start the visa procedures. The official admission at the University of Pavia will be possible only after you will have done this pre-enrollment. Please get in contact with the Italian authority in your country as soon as possible (deadline 24 July).
Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, have to prove their knowledge of the language through an Italian language test.

The Degree Course in “Logopedia” is a newly-established course, activated by the University of Pavia.
The study program lasts three years and ends with a final exam, with a qualifying value, and a graduation in Speech therapy.
The Degree Course in Speech Therapy has the primary objective of training operators who have knowledge and technical-practical and behavioral skills appropriate to the development of the best professional practice in the areas of prevention and rehabilitative treatment of speech, swallowing and communication disorders In developmental, adult and geriatric age, according to the professional profile and the core pathology of the speech therapist.

Career opportunities for speech therapists are located within the S.S.N. and Regional health bodies; this professional figure will be able to work in accredited public and private health centers, IRCCS (i.e. hospitals), rehabilitation centers, RSA, as well as perform domiciliary and outpatient activities, as an employee or in a freelance professional regime.
