If you are a non European student residing abroad, you need to do a pre-enrollment via Italian Consulate and start the visa procedures. The official admission at the University of Pavia will be possible only after you will have done this pre-enrollment. Please get in contact with the Italian authority in your country as soon as possible (deadline 24 July).
Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, have to prove their knowledge of the language through an Italian language test.

The Degree Course in “Igiene Dentale” (qualifying for the health profession of dental hygienist) aims to train health workers who carry out with a title and professional autonomy for the individuals and the community, activities aimed at prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and functional assessment procedures, in order to carry out the skills required by their professional profile.
The course is divided into three years and provides for the acquisition of 180 CFU in total for the purposes of obtaining a degree in Dental Hygiene (qualifying for the health profession of dental hygienist).
The final exam has the status of state exam, qualifying for professional practice.
The first, second and third year of the course are activated.
Enrollment in the course is subject to passing a special admission test and on the basis of a quota of places, indicated for each academic year, in the admission announcement.
The number of places for admission to the first year of the course and the methods and content of the test are established by ministerial decrees.
Each single University prepares the admission test.

The dental hygienist holding the qualification has professional perspectives to perform activities both in public and privates sectors, self-employed or self-employed regime as a community, hospital or university hygienist.
