The Laurea Magistrale in Edile-Architettura is single cycle master degree with a national entry test requirement.
Students will be admitted to the Laurea Magistrale in Edile-Architettura only once they have successfully passed an entry test which is held once a year.
Students residing abroad must pre-enroll at their local Italian representative in order to take the entry test and get their visa. They also need to register to the entry test online following the instructions published on the Italian ministry of education website”:

You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university.
If you are a non European student residing abroad, you need to do a pre-enrollment via Italian Consulate and start the visa procedures. The official admission at the University of Pavia will be possible only after you will have done this pre-enrollment. Please get in contact with the Italian authority in your country as soon as possible (deadline 24 July).
Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, such as Laurea Magistrale in Ingegneria Edile-Architettura at our University, have to prove their knowledge of Italian through a test as explained here
You do not have to take the test if you enrol in a study course completely taught in English or if you have a certificate proving your knowledge of Italian of level B2 (such as CILS, CELI, Roma3 or CLIDA) – QCER (Common European Framework). More information on our linguistic centre website.
Students also need to have a basic knowledge of English – Level 2 (Common European Framework). You can prove this knowledge with an English certification listed here
If you have been awarded a certificate of knowledge of English language not included in this list you can anyway submit it with your enrolment document and ask for a recognition. Our Dean with the collaboration of the English Language Coordinator will consider your application.

The Master Degree course in Ingegneria Edile-Architettura in Pavia is a five-year course combining the knowledge of civil engineering training with architecture. The aim of the course is to train professionals able to design and architectural work as a whole, incorporating architectural, technological, structural and environmental aspects. The course in Pavia has been active since 1998 (first in Italy with Aquila and Rome) and has a strong vocation for internationalization offering various mobility opportunities during the studies at major universities in the world, offering some English lessons and activating Two international titles in China and Spain. Graduates at the degree program in Pavia can enroll both in the Professional Register of Engineers and Architects.
First year classes are focused on Mathematics; Geometry, History of Architecture, Architecture Design, Physics, Architectural Design.
