Overview

The Master’s Degree in “Economia e gestione delle imprese” (hereinafter MEGI) aims to offer a solid preparation in the management field, in order to provide participants with the knowledge necessary to face the continuous changes that characterize the current economic systems and, at the same time, to equip them with suitable cognitive tools to stimulate interest in continuous updating and deepening of knowledge and specific skills in their professional field.
The Economics and Business Management course aims to respond to the needs of the economic-productive system (both in the industrial and services sectors) by producing professionals with interdisciplinary skills in both private – profit and non-profit – and public company management.
The course also aims to provide an advanced theoretical and methodological training that allows graduates of Economics and Business Management to formulate strategic choices consistent with the competitive context in which they find themselves exercising their professional or managerial activity, and implementing them through the organization of the main company functions.
On the basis of these premises, a training course has been set up, divided into four semesters, in which the fundamental teachings for providing a solid methodological basis are complemented by lessons for enhancing the various scientific disciplinary sectors that can best contribute to the definition of a training profile able to combine the methodologies of the company management with the specific characteristics of the sectors of economic activity.
The main differences in terms of skills and research fields recognizable within the same disciplinary sector, find the best expression in the MEGI course, becoming an integral part of the students’ specialization.
In order to prepare the student for the workplace, students are given the opportunity to include internship activities in national and international businesses in their curriculum.
The training course ends with the preparation and subsequent discussion of a dissertation prepared in an original way by the candidate, under the supervision of one or more teachers and in collaboration with company tutors.
