Tuition fee for non-EU students who enter Italy with a study visa is based on flat rate and depends on the citizenship.
If non-EU students come from a family with limited financial resource, they can choose to have their tuition fee calculated according to their family income (from €156,00 to €3.985,00 per year).

Overview

The course is divided into three academic years, during which the student acquires the theoretical and practical notions needed to carry out the profession of Orthopedic Technician, according to the provisions of the current legislation.
The student’s training is both theoretical and practical and attendance to lectures, interactive courses, seminars and practical training, held at affiliated Orthopedic Workshops, are mandatory activities, during which the student works under the supervision of a qualified Tutor, achieving the training objectives expected for the three years of the course.
At the end of the course the discussion of a thesis and the passing of the State Exam are scheduled, qualifying graduates for the profession of Orthopedic technician, which take place in the presence of teachers, representatives of the Medical Profession of Orthopedic Technician and a commissioner appointed by the Ministry of health.

Career opportunities

The orthopedic technician shall find employment in:
- Public or private structures, both in dependency and freelance
- In Universities in the specific sector of teaching, tutorship or coordination of the degree course in Orthopedic Techniques;
- In the production industries of garrisons, orthoses, guardians or prostheses;
- In marketing agencies operating in the sector.
