Entry qualification

High school Diploma High-school diploma awarded after at least 12 years of documented education. Access to the Degree Course in Infermieristica (Abilitante alla Professione Sanitaria di Infermiere) has a national entry test requirement. THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE INDICATED IN THE ANNUAL ANNOUNCEMENT TO THE COURSE . Check your country specific document requirements for bachelor degree enrollments. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / French / Italian / Spanish. In order to finalize your enrollment, you must submit the scanned version of your original documents.

Territory requirements

This registration is dedicated to prospective students who have obtained the final diploma outside of Italy in order to asses the eligibility of their diploma. At the end of the evaluation process, a letter will be issued by the University of Pavia. This letter, among other things, must be used during the pre-enrollment and visa procedures at the Italian authority in their Country (Consulate, Embassy, authorized agency).

Language requirements

Italian Non-eu students residing abroad who would like to enroll in a study course completely taught in Italian, have to prove their knowledge of the language through an Italian language test. Overview

Graduates of “Infermieristica” will become health professionals who carry out activities aimed at the prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and safeguarding of individual and collective health, performing the functions identified by the rules establishing their particular profile as well as by the specific Deontological Code (2009), using planning methodologies for nursing objectives in the developmental, adult and geriatric age.
The achievement of professional skills is implemented through theoretical and practical training so as to guarantee, at the end of the training course, a full mastery of the necessary nursing skills and their use in health, socio-health and territorial contexts.
Particular importance, as an integral and qualifying part of vocational training, is placed on the training activity of a laboratory and clinical internship, for a total of 60 CFUs, implemented under the supervision and guidance of specially appointed professional tutors.

Career opportunities

The qualification obtained at the end of the course by passing the final exam and qualifying for the practice of nursing, allows graduates to carry out the professional activity in public or private health facilities in the local area as well as at home in dependency or free professional statuses.
