Overview
Ingegneria Civile main focus is on constructions (civil and industrial buildings, big
works such as bridges, dims, galleries, etc.) and infrastructures (streets and
transportations, water collection, distribution and disposal systems, soil retention systems,
etc.). The Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering provides innovative and strong competencies to be used in these fields, with a specific focus on the areas of structures and hydraulics,
training professionals high risk environmental.
Students can choose to focus their study plan between two tracks:
• Structures
• Hydraulics
Structures’ Track. First year classes are focused on Structural Dynamics and Computational Mechanics; Reinforced Concrete and Steel Structures; Fondations
and Retaining Structures, Bridge theory and design.
Hydraulics’ Track. First year classes are focused on Hydrology and Hydraulic
arrangements; Fluid Mechanics, Fondations and Retaining Structures, Hydrological Modelling and Risk analysis.

LM+
Ingegneria civile can be activate as a “LM+”, a special Master’s Degree program made up of 5 semesters rather than 4. In the last 2 semesters students are offered a training period in a company, during which expenses are reimbursed. Learn more here
